White House AI Bill of Rights

On the morning of October 4th, 2022 the White House released the AI Bill of Rights. This new legislation to help regulate the ways in which AI's should be deployed and set rules on how they should work and outlaw any AI that could prove dangerous. Some of the newer implementations in this Bill are to ensure that AI systems should be proven safe and effective through testing and consultations with those who have stake in the AI's producer.
Also the new bill is wanting the production of these AI and the machines that produce the AI to be vigorously monitored and to remove algorithmic discrimination. Claiming that AI should protect both communities.
What this means for AI producers
While this Bill also mentions a large amount of other things that regulate AI's. This Bill could also help the future of AI as then they don't have as many biases and will be watched their entire production it means that anything even potentially dangerous can be weeded out early.
But because the entire thing is optional for corporations meaning that while following certain regulations in the US. Big companies don't have to worry about these regulations interfering with their AI projects and whatever companies do decide to follow these regulations it is suspected that this will turn out better safer AI.
